WaterAid asked us to take a fresh look at DRTV, throw out the formula, celebrate success and see what happened. The result was Tap to tap…
Ever noticed how the text tone on your phone sounds like a dripping tap? I brought this simple idea to life by putting the donation mechanism right upfront and showing the amazing progress WaterAid have made so far, thanks to their supporters. This positive and uplifting advert demonstrates how, by texting the word TAP, you can bring clean water to everyone, everywhere. It was hugely successful in bringing in donations and inspiring a younger audience.
I designed this high value appeal pack encouraging donors to invest in the pineapple growers of Rwanda - one of Oxfam’s many sustainable projects.
A social media campaign to ask for donations to send books in the post to children in care at Christmas time. I created these illustrations which bring to life the magic of receiving a book parcel and opening up a child’s imagination.
A brief came in from Macmillan to pitch ideas for a ‘creative’ alternative to their hugely successful Coffee Morning. We presented multiple ideas including ‘Totes Macmillan’ - a box that comes in the post with blank tote bags, inspiration cards and decoration materials to get you started. The organiser would arrange a party at home, or at work and invite a group of friends to get creative and donate to this fantastic cause.
A sample of direct mail appeals I art directed and designed to raise funds for this iconic brand.
Legacy appeal - Encouraging existing supporters to leave a legacy in their will to maintain National Trust sites for future generations.
Chartwell appeal - Raising money to keep Churchill’s possessions on display in his home at Chartwell.
Snowdonia appeal - This pack raised awareness of how fragile the vast mountainous landscape of Snowdonia is and asked for donations to repair broken paths. By walking off the paths, visitors are unknowingly damaging the very delicate ecosystems that exist alongside them which has huge knock-on effects.
Every year Marlborough College run a Summer School programme. We pitched to refresh the look and feel, redesign their brochure and website - and won!
I also went along with a film crew and we captured some footage while the courses were taking place and created films to sit on the new website.
An elegant re-brand and advertising campaign for an independent estate agents.
A smart re-brand for the leading office products brand in Europe. We created a new look and feel across all printed and digital materials as well as several product films and photoshoots.
Greyhounds are famous for racing but once they are past their prime they are often dumped. The lucky ones are rescued by Dogs Trust. This pack was sent out to existing supporters to ask for donations to give these lovely dogs all the care they need while in a center to get them ready for re-homing.
I art directed and designed this mailer and had a wonderful time directing the photo shoot too.
Champions Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall is the grand season finale of the ATP Champions tour. IMG wanted to attract a younger demographic so we positioned the event as an unmissable entertainment experience. We produced compelling creative that showcased not only the calibre and profile of the players, but also the uniqueness of the experience itself. The result? More than 16,800 ticket sales.
An event for an American software company. We brought the theme of ‘Customer Spotlight’ to life at the Natural History Museum and at 30 Euston Square.
This project really put me outside my comfort zone having to dress two venues, design floral centerpieces and source branded gifts all in a very short time frame!
Summer appeal for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. I designed this pack which called for donations to train their amazing volunteer lifeboat crews so they can keep on saving lives at sea.
The aim of the ‘Be Part of It’ campaign was to drive ticket sales for Premiership Rugby matches. It’s just not the same watching it on TV!
I worked on everything from the TV ad, to website takeovers and even Taxi wraps.
Intranet site creation and ownership for the Digitalisation programme within a global engineering company.
I spent 6 months in-house at Subsea 7 creating regular content, including video updates and podcasts, as well as a communications toolkit.
Creative executions for several racedays and events for this iconic racecourse.
